I ordered a floor rising screen and an UST laser projector based on reviews on this site and others. The screen was quick to arrive, but the projector took longer. This was not an issue as it was expected to not be shipped immediately. Customer service as great and kept me informed of the status, and helped make sure my projector shipped in a timely manner. Both items arrived in perfect condition, and were easy to set up. The picture with the Vividstorm ALR screen and the Formovie Theater projector are amazing, in the daytime with ambient light or in the evening with low light conditions. I can go from living room to home theater in less than 90 seconds. And back just as fast.

I've been looking at floor rising screens to pair with the Optoma P2 I had purchased from projectorscreen.com previously but there was only one option available at the time and the cost of that Elite Screens model was simply just too high. I got an email from Brian saying that they had just added a new line, Vividstorm to their website and that I should check it out as an option for my UST projector.

I was a little hesitant at first because I had never heard of the brand Vividstorm before and the price was so much lower than Elite's, it made me think it must be really inferior. Brian had told me not to worry as he had been testing this screen out for months before deciding to add it to his website and that he fully stands behind the quality of the product.

I had placed my order and received the screen within 2 weeks and it is AMAZING!

The screen was extremely well packaged and really impressed me with a first impression that this was a top quality product.

Setup was easy and within 30 minutes I had it all setup with my P2 and was enjoying the show.

I did have to place the P2 on the floor in front of the Vividstorm on the floor which isn't ideal, but I am building a custom cabinet to get the projector off of the floor and will be using the wall brackets for the screen to mount it into studs for a much more high-end look in my living room.

I'm really psyched about this setup and appreciative that Brian kept in touch with me when he found me the solution I had been looking for.

I don't even know where to start. This screen is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. 4K, HDR, 3D, everything I have thrown at it looks amazing. I have always used fixed screens when I could and then motorized ceiling drop screens in other places. However, after purchasing a new house with cathedral ceilings, I didn't want anything taking up the wall behind the entertainment center and leave some room for artwork for my wife. 

Brightness, clarity, and overall quality in a light-controlled setting is off the charts. I have this paired with a BenQ V7050i and Spectra sliding drawer and I could not be happier. It is absolutely the best screen I have ever had. 

I currently have this wall mounted with the optional brackets. I was able to adjust the rise to match what was needed for the projector image to match up perfectly with ease using the included tools. It also has a nice built-in look behind our entertainment center/cab. I have had no issues with ripples or anything and the tension on the screen has been spot on and it opens to the exact same position every single time. 

If there was any downside, it may be that there is no black border on the screen on the sides, so if your projector has a slight light bleed, you will see it if you try to match up the image with the edges of the screen. Even still, I wouldn't call it much of a downside. Putting curtains up or painting the wall a light absorbing color could help with some of that. 

I HIGHLY recommend this screen. I have had no need for support, so can't comment on that aspect.

The purchase process was smooth. I got in touch with one of the sales reps via the chat and then on the phone. The projector screen shipped almost immediately however, I had to wait for the projector for almost 2 weeks. Over all, I am impressed by the quality of the product and the image that it produces. One of the immediate items that popped up was on HDMI3 eARC port, my receiver was not receiving the input audio from the Android TV system and the input/screen refreshes every 30 sec or so thus pausing the externally sourced video (like Amazon Fire Stick). I raise a support ticket and waiting for an update from the seller. As long as I am on HDM1 or 2 or while on HDMI3, turn of the eARC on T1, no issues observed. Unless you plan to use external player like Fire Stick or Apple TV, this might be a deal breaker.

As it is already mentioned in lot of the reviews, the top right corner does have some focus issues but I felt it was negligible. The projector could have been a bit more luminous or brighter for my room (as it a basement with a window and bright ceiling lights) but when no ambient light present, the image is outstanding. The built in speaker is not bad but I would anyways not use it for theater experience. Still exploring the options on the device. The KeyStone setting needs some understanding for new bees like me. While I was not able to adjust the height exactly to get 120" screen but was able to get the screen to fill most of the screen, almost like up to 118 to 119". I do see some spilling of the screen in the darkest setting of the room but otherwise, no issues.

The experimental USB dongle provided works excellently with the system for shutting the VivdStorm roll down as soon as the T1 is shutdown. Liked it. Still working on setting up one remote for all the devices. Definitely need to tinker some settings for that to happen.

I wished there were more user defined profiles available to save for brighter room setting and a darker rooms setting. Otherwise, it is constant adjustment according to the ambient lighting. Still exploring the product.

Using with a Fengmi T1 UST projector. Gives fantastic images. Able to use with some ambient light - currently with dimmed wall-wash spots above the screen and dim lights elsewhere. Also gives great images in a blackened room, helps the already deep blacks of the T1. Currently using on the floor, still waiting to mount into a cabinet of some kind. My goal is to use the screen in front of a wall mounted OLED that I'll use for full-on daytime use in a brightly lit room. Great support from Projectorscreen.com and the manufacturer over a minor issue when first delivered which was quickly resolved. Mechanism seems robust and is working well after one month of daily use. I have no reason to be concerned about it going forward.
