Hisense PX2-Pro

Why You Should Buy The Nexigo Aurora Pro
Man, this was a tough decision between the the Nexigo Aurora Pro versus the Hisense PX2-Pro. But like football fans, no one likes a tie. So we gave a hard fought victory to the Nexigo Aurora Pro.
Both projectors give you a fantastic picture but where the Nexigo UST pulls ahead of the PX2-Pro is with regards to contrast and black levels. Thanks to the ALPD 4.0 technology the Aurora Pro has deeper blacks that help it achieve better contrast. This is especially important for lights on viewings where contrast quickly degrades the brighter the environment. Despite having the same lumen output, if you're the type to watch tv and movies with the lights on, the Nexigo laser TV is the way to go.
If you're a gamer then the Nexigo Aurora Pro has a big advantage, with a 17.9ms input lag at 4K/60Hz. This means that your button presses will show up that much quicker. In video games, every millisecond counts. On top of that, it is one of the very few projectors supporting 4K@120Hz.
For those of you who love 3D movies and games, then the Nexigo Aurora Pro's support for 3D content is a big plus.
The Nexigo also had some other smaller benefits such as being able to sit closer to the screen and to make an image size all the way up to 150 inches. We're also big fans of the backlit remote.
Why You Should Buy The Hisense PX2-Pro
The 4K Hisense PX2-Pro finished in second place at the Laser TV Showdown for a good reason. That's largely because it offers brilliant and cinematically more accurate colors than the Nexigo laser TV. On top of that it offers an incredibly sharp image. It was significantly sharper than the Nexigo Aurora Pro when watching HDR content in a dark room.
For those of you who like watching sports, action movies or fast paced video games, the motion handling found on the PX2-Pro is superior to every other ultra short throw model according to the judges at the 2023 Laser TV Showdown who gave it the highest scores in 24p motion.
Another major advantage of the Hisense PX2-Pro is the operating system. By utilizing the Google TV smart TV interface, this Hisense triple laser unit provides built-in apps like Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube, Hulu and Netflix. If you want to watch Netflix on a Formovie Theater, you need to use an external streaming device that takes up one of the HDMI ports. So if you're a big fan of Netflix, the PX2-Pro might be the way to go.
The two year warranty offered on the Hisense PX2-Pro compared to Nexigo's 1 year, is also a nice little bonus that could push someone who can't decide towards the PX2-Pro.
